These black 2017 – 2021 SYM Elegant & Galaxy small 50cc semi-automatic scooters for rent in Hanoi have a modern design, very similar to the Japanese Honda Wave series. You can say it’s a copy. It has front telescopic forks, 17″ tires, and a small storage box under the seat. A new bike with taxes and the registration paper – the blue card – is around 700$US. In reality, it’s the most expensive 50cc scooter we rent out.

Upgraded 72cc/100cc Cylinder
As the 50cc is quite weak, the only way to make it stronger is an over-bore kit and a better clutch. Therefore, we installed a 72cc or 100cc Honda Super Cub cylinder and engine head. From our experience, this kit improved the power, but in no way as good as a real 70cc/100cc motorbike. However, it’s worth the investment and it’s better than the original 50cc.
It’s still a legal 50cc as stated on paper and you don’t need a licence to ride it.
With storage under the seat and an extension luggage rack (for bags)
