The ArtScience Museum in Singapore was the perfect escape from the heat on a hot and humid day. Completely indoors and air-conditioned, it’s the perfect place to visit on any day.
I decided to make the most of my visit by arriving early, around 10 AM, and purchasing tickets for all three exhibits.
This post is all about the Singapore ArtScience Museum.
I explored by myself for most of our trip to Singapore and felt comfortable wandering around and getting lost in the exhibits.

Exhibits at the Singapore ArtScience Museum
Future World: Where Art Meets Science
Out of all the exhibits, Future World was definitely my favorite. The whole space is full of creativity and interactive activities that make you feel like a kid again. Whether it’s sliding down bright, colorful slides or walking through areas where art and technology blend together, it’s a lot of fun.
You can even color your own sea creatures and scan them into the main exhibit! I did this and I was able to see my little squid that I colored float through an aquarium filled with crayon creations straight from the imagination of all the other attendees. This was truly magical.
Another cool activation for me was this rope-walking activity. Even though you’re only a foot off the ground, the room is completely dark, with stars projected all around you, so it feels like you’re floating in space. It was so convincing that I had to keep reminding myself that I wasn’t actually up high! This exhibit was perfect for a solo adventure—fun, engaging, and just the right amount of playfulness.
Mars: The Red Mirror
The second exhibit, Mars: The Red Mirror, explored space-themed art and culture, which was right up my alley. It was really interesting to see how our obsession with space—from the moon landing to sci-fi stories—has shaped how we think about the world and beyond.
The exhibit brought together history, art, and science in a really cool way, with pieces like a giant planet model and some unique artwork. It felt like a fun trip through our collective imagination, showing how space has influenced everything from movies and books to our dreams about the future.
New Eden: Science Fiction Mythologies Transformed
The last exhibit I visited was New Eden: Science Fiction Mythologies Transformed, and it had a unique, futuristic vibe.
The installations were colorful and kind of intense. It felt more personal compared to the other exhibits, offering a glimpse into a future shaped by both science fiction and mythology.
The atmosphere was calm and almost meditative, making it a nice way to wrap up my visit.
Singapore ArtScience Museum Review
In total, I spent about 2.5 hours exploring all three exhibits, and it was time well spent. Tickets for all three exhibits cost SGD 66 for adults, with discounted family tickets also available. You can opt to visit individual exhibits for around SGD 25-30 each.
Although I didn’t get to try the café (it was closed for a private event), the museum’s location on the Marina Bay Sands property made it easy to grab lunch and do some shopping at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, just a minute’s walk away.
The ArtScience Museum is a fantastic destination for everyone, from kids to adults. Its location along the waterfront, near the stunning Helix Pedestrian Bridge, makes it a perfect spot to start your day of exploration in Singapore. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, this museum offers a blend of fun, education, and inspiration that’s hard to beat.
